Chris Ramsay – Stillwater, OK
Chris Ramsay has been teaching metals and jewelry courses at Oklahoma State University since 1990 and served as the Head of the OSU Art Department from 2008-2012. Ramsay has presented numerous metalworking workshops in prestigious craft schools and universities in the US and Cortona, Italy. In the fall of 2015, Ramsay studied climate change as artist-in-resident at Crater Lake National Park, adding to an intriguing list of residency sites he has taken part in, including the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts in Portland, Acadia National Park in Maine and Haystack School of Crafts in Maine. Chris Ramsay’s artwork is in several personal collections and the permanent collections of the Philbrook Museum of Art, Tulsa, OK, Children’s Hospital of Cleveland, OH, and the botanical gardens of Southern Living Magazine, Birmingham, AL.
