Booker T. Washington High School’s Historian/Curator Lamar Burks narrates a Dr. Rodney L. Clark film entitled BTW Boys Basketball - “A Legacy of Champions” with music by Rocky Bright. The documentary encompasses the history of BTW Basketball from the beginning to the present. There are stories from legendary alumni coaches and players including Mike Mims, Conley Phipps, Jr., Levi Brown, Eli Brown III, Joe Sheets, William Tisdale, Fred Jones, Ryan Humphrey, Marcus Peel, Charles Davis, Melvin Gilliam, Marcus Hill, Jamal West and Levi “Boogie” Harris. The film also features highlights from such greats as Richard Dumas, Wayman Tisdale, Robert Meachem, Clint McDaniel, Etan Thomas, Shea Seals and more. The film demonstrates the rich legacy of Booker T. Washington High School that continues to produce great athletes with high academic standards. The tradition of this school lives on and serves as a true inspiration for future generations.
