TULSA ARTIST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMMING IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.

Tulsa Artist Fellowship opens for our signature First Friday series on August 2. Explore awardee studios. Experience the latest Flagship exhibition on view 𐓏𐒰𐒿𐒷́𐓒𐒷 (Markings): 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 poetic forms alongside a Literary Salon in the style of Gertrude Stein. The evening features readings and performances by Osage artists, writers, and musicians, and jewelry designs in an environment of safety and freedom.

John Parker will host the evening, reminiscing on the Osage Coffee Houses of his youth and introducing featured artists Welana A. Queton, Talee Redcorn, Jeanne DeRoin, and Henry Gray. 

𐓏𐒰𐒿𐒷́𐓒𐒷 (Markings): 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 poetic forms features works by Osage artists reflecting on Waleze, the 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 term for the written Osage language. This term encompasses photos, designs, patterns, books, and all forms of markings. This multidisciplinary exhibit encourages co-creation within the context of the Osage language, 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE

Tulsa Artist Fellowship strives to provide a welcoming and accessible experience. Our exhibitions and events are free, documented, and archived.

Archer Studios at 109 MLK Jr Blvd E. Tulsa, OK 74103 accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. Variable seating is provided in addition to areas for distanced standing. Family-scale private washrooms are available to support visitors with disabilities and caregivers who need access to increased square footage and changing tables. The elevator at Archer Studios is located at the main west entrance on Martin Luther King Blvd. Street-side parking is available at both buildings using the Park Mobile App and is free after 5 pm and all day Saturday-Sunday.

Flagship is located at 112 N Boston Ave Tulsa, OK 74103. Public hours are Thursday-Saturday from 12-6 pm. The gallery accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. Variable seating is provided, as well as areas for distanced standing and wheelchairs. Family-scale private washrooms are available to support visitors with disabilities and caregivers who need access to increased square footage and changing tables. Street-side parking is available using the Park Mobile App. Parking is free after 5 pm and all day Saturday-Sunday.
