Film Screening and Panel: “A Day In Santa Fe” by Lynn Riggs
OSU Center for Poets and Writers, the Claremore Museum of History, and C.Q.P.S. present a screening of A Day In Santa Fe, a 1931 experimental film by Lynn Riggs and James Hughes. Following the thirty-five-minute film, the Center for Poets and Writers will host a brief panel with experts on gay Cherokee playwright, Lynn Riggs, including Dr. Lindsey Smith, Professor of Native American Literature at Oklahoma State University, and Steve Robinson, Executive Director of the Claremore Museum of History.
