TULSA ARTIST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMMING IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.

Tulsa Artist Fellowship opens for our signature First Friday series on July 5. Cool down at Flagship with frosty beverages by Heirloom Rustic Ales while exploring our new exhibition on view, 𐓏𐒰𐒿𐒷́𐓒𐒷 (Markings): 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 poetic forms.

𐓏𐒰𐒿𐒷́𐓒𐒷 (Markings): 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 poetic forms features works by Osage artists reflecting on Waleze, the 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷 term for the written Osage language. This term encompasses photos, designs, patterns, books, and all forms of markings. This multidisciplinary exhibit encourages co-creation within the context of the Osage language, 𐓏𐒰𐓓𐒰́𐓓𐒷 𐒻́𐒷.

The participating artists are Norman Akers, Dave Cote, Julianna Cote, Alex DeRoin, Sarah Elsberry, Yatika Starr Fields, Anita Fields, Jessica Moore Harjo, Brian Hicks, Chelsea T. Hicks, Mary and Cody Hammer, Aimee Inglis, Mia Jones, Emmrie Mashunkashey, Elizabeth Moore, Erica Pretty Eagle, T.V. Moore, John Parker, Wendy Ponca, Moira RedCorn, D.O., Talee Redcorn, Alex Ponca Stock, Welana A. Queton, and aaliyah wahwassuck.

Artist studios will be closed in observance of Independence Day and will reopen on First Friday, August 2. We look forward to welcoming you back!

First Friday at Tulsa Artist Fellowship promises a night of engaging art conversations and hands-on experiences!


VISITOR EXPERIENCE

Tulsa Artist Fellowship strives to provide a welcoming and accessible experience. Our public programming is free, documented, and archived.

Flagship is located at 112 N Boston Ave Tulsa, OK 74103. Public hours are Thursday-Saturday from 12-6 pm. The gallery accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. Variable seating is provided, as well as areas for distanced standing and wheelchairs. Family-scale private washrooms are available to support visitors with disabilities and caregivers who need access to increased square footage and changing tables. Street-side parking is available using the Park Mobile App. Parking is free after 5 pm and all day Saturday-Sunday.
