  • Virtual United States (map)

LALTulsa is a reading and conversation series with translators and authors who bring Latin American literature to life in English, hosted by Arthur Malcolm Dixon, Tulsa Artist Fellow and Managing Editor of Latin American Literature Today. Join us on Thursday, June 1 at 7pm CDT for the fifth edition of LALTulsa, featuring a very special guest: translator extraordinaire George Henson, LALT’s first translation editor and now LALT translation editor-at-large, recognized by esteemed Mexicanist Ignacio Sánchez Prado as “one of the most important literary translators at work in the United States today.” George will share sneak peeks of upcoming translations and discuss his take on the translator’s task.
