CHEF BRADLEY JAMES DRY

Chef Bradley James Dry is a Cherokee food stylist and chef from Tulsa, Oklahoma, deeply inspired by his heritage and his grandmother, Mildred “Millie” Raper, who taught him traditional Appalachian recipes. With over a decade of restaurant experience, Dry now focuses on preserving Cherokee culinary traditions through catering, demonstrations, and events like the 2023 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. A passionate forager, he blends traditional Cherokee foods with contemporary techniques, striving to keep Cherokee culture alive in modern American cuisine. He prepared meals for the TV series Reservation Dogs, created by his friend Sterlin Harjo.
