Astronomical star parties are gatherings where seasoned space enthusiasts or wide-eyed beginners come together to observe celestial objects such as stars, planets, and galaxies. Space For Us will provide shared telescopes, but participants with telescopes are encouraged to bring them out and share their knowledge, fostering a communal atmosphere for stargazing and astronomical appreciation. Star parties are more than just stargazing; they can be transformative experiences that ignite a cosmic perspective within every participant. This cosmic perspective is a profound overview of our place in the vast expanse of the universe.

Red flashlights will be provided for optimal stargazing and observation!
BLANKETS AND PORTABLE CHAIRS ARE ENCOURAGED.

Space For Us is dedicated to making STEAM resources and careers in space sciences more visible and accessible to underserved communities, particularly minorities and BIPOC individuals of all ages while promoting dark sky protection and advocacy. Regardless of background, everyone should be able to explore and contribute to the infinite possibilities of space exploration and astronomy. Space for Us empowers and inspires the next generation of diverse space enthusiasts, spacefarers, and professionals and fosters an equitable and inclusive environment within space sciences and related fields.
