The 2025 exhibition program at Flagship launches with Sacred Signs, a presentation of Tulsa Artist Fellowship awardee video works by composer and sound artist Micaela Tobin (APOLAKI: Opera of the Scorched Earth) and multidisciplinary artist and activist Alicia Smith (Teomama, Erendira, I Believe You, Hueatoyatzintli, Cihuamichi, Tonantzin, Toci - Chapter 1: The Bat Women).

Words of the People presents a special reading with Joy Harjo on rematriation, an Indigenous-led movement reconnecting the sacred to the mother. The 23rd U.S. Poet Laureate and Muscogee Nation citizen will share poetry reflecting on land, memory, and spiritual reclamation. Introductions by NDN Girls Book Club.

LEYA visits Tulsa Artist Fellowship for the first time since 2022 in support of their recent album, I Forget Everything. They will present material from the record alongside a special duo drone performance from TAF fellow Micaela Tobin, aka White Boy Scream, and Derrick Estrada, aka Baseck.

Central Standard, a new contemporary art platform based in Tulsa, will launch its inaugural exhibition, Drift///Hold, presented in partnership with the Tulsa Artist Fellowship. The exhibition opens on February 20 at the newly renovated Price Family Properties’ Arco Building (119 E. 6th Street, Tulsa, OK). Founded by Tulsa-born curators Lindsay Aveilhé and Ashanti Chaplin, Central Standard is dedicated to elevating contemporary art in Middle America and fostering international artistic exchange.
Marking the tenth anniversary of Tulsa Artist Fellowship, 10 awardees working across various arts disciplines were selected to receive $2.35 million in resources by a panel of esteemed arts leaders to live and work in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
