ARAB FILM FEST TULSA

Saturday, November 9, 2024 | 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Circle Cinema
10 S Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK 74104

Join the Arab Film Fest Tulsa community for a five-hour event featuring two critically acclaimed films from Arab World nations currently experiencing extreme turmoil. The event includes a discussion accompanying one film and a meal in between the screenings.

One ticket includes everything! Watch the Palestinian family documentary BYE BYE TIBERIUS featuring Hiam Abbass from Succession and Ramy series, as she visits home with her daughter. Also, see the incisive Sudanese drama GOODBYE JULIA, which explores brutal north-south divides affecting the lives of a pop singer and her widowed maid. During intermission, enjoy a delicious Lebanese spread from Tulsa's own Shawkat Mediterranean Grill. Additionally, there will be a talk and Q&A session with special guests.

Curated by Arab American Arts Organization Mizna. Organized by awardee alum Moheb Soliman. Co-hosted by Circle Cinema and Tulsa Artist Fellowship.

The full multi-day Arab Film Fest Tulsa will come back for its fourth edition in 2025. In the meantime, we invite our festival community to join us this year for a taste of what we always offer: outstanding independent Arab world films, engaging conversations, delicious food, and a welcoming and diverse space.
