SALON READING FOR THE CLOSING NIGHT OF THE REMAINS
Friday, November 15, 2024 | 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Archer Studios at Tulsa Artist Fellowship
109 MLK Jr Blvd E. Tulsa, OK 74103
Join us for a salon reading that will close The Remains exhibition at Studio 227 (Tulsa Artist Fellowship Archer Studios). Share a piece of elegy or reflect on what remains. I will also read a small section from the book I am working on that is tied to the exhibition.
We collect many things over the years. These objects hold our stories, providing meaning and comfort as silent narrators of our lives. Even immigrants, who are starting anew, will retain a few keepsakes. But what happens to these items once we are gone? Who will remember or find us in them?
